Although much of the main ski area is adjacent to Kirchberg (837 m), its mark is Kitzbühel (800 m), even in the most remote location of the Resterhöhe (1,894 m), which extends above Mittersill. Not even the 2,000-meter slopes of the Kitzbühel Alps are relatively steep, despite their tame appearance – the entire arena is aimed at sportier, and only relaxed skiers.

Beautiful long and decent sports slopes lead from the Ehrenbachhöhe (1,802 m) and Pengelstein (1,938 m) into the valley towards Kirchberg. The best “black” boiler sinks below the peak of the Steinbergkogel (1,972 m) and, on the contrary, the nice well-arranged motorways are concentrated in the Resterhöhe and Zweitausender areas (2,004 m) above Mittersill.
